I just cant keep going. I have decided to close up shop.
The reality is, on all the hard work I did, the only site that actually brought in the bucks was zazzle.
So I have decided to close all other shops. Its just not worth the energy.
By trying to promote a ton of shops, if I put all my energy into the zazzle shops, then who knows what can happen.

Now, I also used artsnow for products, as the old saying goes, 'you get what youu pay for', i decided to order some products that I have created and when I got them delievered, I just couldn't believe how cheap they were, so I will no longer be using their service anymore.
So there you go folks, by the end of Januray, all stores will be closed except for zazzle.
If you have signed up to other sites with the same user name I would keep them to stop others trading on your name. You don't have to do anything with those stores. Just let them sit.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly makes sense to concentrate your effort in the places it brings you returns! I still find I do better on GCU than on Zazzle but that may be something to do with my style!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I had items posted (and reposted ad nauseam) on Etsy for over five years and all I got out of it was four sales. I've been doing a bit of painting, thinking about opening a shop on Zazzle--still looking into how it works and all that. I feel like I've got a ton of yarn for no reason now, I want to get the crocheted items I've got made so far sold before I make anything else but nothing moved in all that time. I haven't bothered to have anything listed on Etsy for months, it's very discouraging.
